Explore our classrooms! We offer different rooms to meet your child where they are and offer a facility and staff to aid your child, no matter what stage they are in.
INFANT ROOM: BIRTH TO 18 MONTHS
$220 Weekly
The infant room is designed to be a comfort to our smallest children. Our infant room is mixed age, this allows the children to participate in secure and continuous relationships with both their peers and teachers.
Our goal is to provide families with a sense of security and belonging as they trust their most precious babies to us. The infant staff works with families to individualize transitions and separation so that families can leave for their day with confidence that their child is happy and safe.
The infant room teachers individualize schedules and experiences to meet the needs of each infant enrolled in the program. This includes honoring each child’s sleeping and feeding schedules and preferences. Parents will receive regular updates via the brightwheel application.
TODDLER CLASSROOM: 12-36 MONTHS
Ducklings - Younger Tots $215 Weekly
Monkeys - Transitioning Tots (potty training options) $215 Weekly
Dragonflies - Older Tots (actively potty training) $205 Weekly
The toddler classes focus on developing your kiddo’s sense of curiosity as they explore and investigate the world around them. Every day, children have the opportunity to engage in hands-on experiences that support a child’s sense of curiosity as they: engage in sensory and craft experiences, read stories, sing and dance, visit the indoor large motor play area or outdoor playground and explore the environment around them. Through these experiences, the kiddos build their fine and large motor skills, cognitive abilities and sense of self-confidence.
The teaching staff’s main focus is health and well-being of your little while encouraging independence and self-confidence. We will work with the family to make goals (walking, using an open face cup, packing up work, potty training) that honor the individuality of the child and your family’s goals as a whole. The Toddler Program at BBA is designed to support the growth of the whole child.
PRE PRIMARY CLASSROOMS: 2.5 - 4 YEARS
Tigers (actively potty training) - $200 Weekly
Bumblebees (potty trained) - $195 Weekly
BBA’s Pre-Primary Program is designed with your kiddo’s development in mind. The classroom is organized in a way that provides the increasingly social pre-primary kiddo with a variety of opportunities to participate in collaborative play and projects with their peers.
The teaching staff at BBA supports the pre primary child’s desire for increased independence; we understand that as the pre primary aged child uses increasingly more language and is physically more coordinated that they are able to do so many things by themselves. The staff uses tools to help the kiddos develop confidence in themselves and their abilities. Generally through trial and error, modeling, and exploration.
The children in the Pre Primary Program spend their days exploring books and songs, getting an introduction to writing and drawing, painting and creating, doing small group with the staff, and playing/collaborating with peers on dramatic play in centers.
Children enrolled in Tigers should be potty training upon starting the program and children in Bublebees should be potty trained at the start date. Teaching staff will support the child in gaining more independence in their use of the restroom.
PRE-K / PRIMARY CLASSROOMS: 4-5 YEARS
Pandas - $190 Weekly
In Pre-K, children continue to grow intellectually, physically, and emotionally as they cultivate self-care and social habits. Staff work closely with the students to instill both cooperation and group work skills along with individualized instruction using hands-on materials.
Our staff understand that a primary child is going through a developmental shift in which they are really starting to know that other people have different ideas and we support them in managing the emotions that come with this new understanding. The teaching staff work to build a strong social-emotional competence that will guide the children as the move into Kindergarten and beyond.
We also know that a primary aged child is incredibly curious and motivated to learn new things. Through play and small group activities, the child is introduced to many literacy, math, and scientific concepts. Our goal is for children to leave for Kindergarten with an understanding of letters and words; a love for books and stories; a sense for numbers; the skill to think like a scientist by hypothesizing, observing, reflecting, and sharing information, and confidence in themselves as learners.
In Pre-K we utilize the Heggerty Curriculum which has a heavy focus on phonemic awareness and foundational language skills.
